One of the more challenging Friendship Quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley is “My Kingdom For A Scroll,” which involves Dreamers getting a Sun Scroll from Scrooge McDuck for Mother Gothel. Once completed, this Friendship Quest will not reward players with any special items, but it is necessary to progress Mother Gothel’s storyline. Similar to McDuck’s “The Treasure Hunt,” players must search for buried items in separate world biomes of the Valley to fulfill this quest.
To get the Sun Scroll from Scrooge McDuck during “My Kingdom For A Scroll,” Disney Dreamlight Valley fans must craft a Micberry Tree, a Furniture Quest Item that requires Softwood ×50, Soil ×30, and a Box of Electronic Components. Both Soil and Softwood are resources that can be found in every single biome of the Valley. Soil is acquired using the Royal Shovel to unearth the dirt in any location, and Softwood appears as piles of sticks that commonly appear across the map. As for the Box of Electronic Components is an object that spawns near the shelves on the right in Wall-E’s home.
How to Find Scrooge McDuck’s Key & Chest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
After placing the Micberry Tree next to Scrooge’s Store in the Plaza of Disney Dreamlight Valley, players must speak with Goofy and Mother Gothel to progress “My Kingdom For A Scroll.” The second half of the quest is moderately tricky, as it involves players finding Scrooge McDuck’s Chest with the Sun Scroll and its corresponding Key required to open it. To make matters more confusing, Mother Gothel gives a rather vague description regarding the locations of these two quest items. Fortunately, finding Scrooge McDuck’s Key and Chest in Disney Dreamlight Valley is an easier task than some might think.
First, to find Scrooge McDuck’s Key during “My Kingdom For A Scroll” in Disney Dreamlight Valley, YouTube content creator Quick Tips states that players must go fishing in the Glade of Trust. The orange fishing spot can be found on the upper-left side of the glade and will spawn out of place to help players distinguish it from other nodes. Next, Scrooge McDuck’s Treasure Chest in Disney Dreamlight Valley can be found in front of the Mystical Cave on Dazzle Beach. Head to the cave’s entrance and check the ground for a sparkling node in front of the crystal device used to open the cavern. Dig up the chest and return to Mother Gothel. Once the two items have been delivered, players will receive Friendship XP as their reward for completing “My Kingdom For A Scroll” in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
